Dr. Tamara Hanby

Specializing in Family and Anti-Aging Medicine

Dr. Tamara Hanby, D.O. has been serving the people of Lake Worth as a primary care physician for over 28 years. She really enjoys medicine and trying to help her patients live longer and stay in optimum health with all of the exciting, cutting-edge medical research that is currently available.
From years of a busy practice, Dr. Hanby feels that this new research can help us do medicine even better. She has a special interest in anti-aging, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and metabolic medicine and is completing a fellowship in these areas. She feels that great health is a balance and that you must address all aspects in your life to achieve the joy and optimum healthier that everyone is capable of.
She graduated Suma Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University in 1982 and began medical school that same year, graduating from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986. She enjoys her family with her husband, Rick, 2 children, and 2 grandchildren. Her daughter teaches chemistry and physics and her son is in medical school.

 

Matthew Dow

Sports and Family Medicine

Dr. Dow was born and raised on a horse ranch in the Fort Worth area. He is the son of Dr. Tamara Hanby who began his interest in medicine at a young age. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas, where he was also goalie for the ice hockey team. He then earned his medical degree in Fort Worth at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Methodist Charlton in Dallas where he was chief resident. He then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Advocate Lutheran in Chicago Illinois. 

Dr. Dow specializes in primary care and sports medicine. He is passionate about treating athletes of all ages as well as treating musculoskeletal injuries and ailments. He also loves promoting optimal health with his primary care patients to help them live the most active and successful lives possible.

Dr. Dow recently moved back from Alaska where he was practicing Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He enjoys playing ice hockey, fishing and spending time outdoors with his wife and two dogs.

Elaine Freehauf

Passion for anti-aging medicine and aesthetics

Elaine Freehauf is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a passion for anti-aging medicine and aesthetics. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Texas Christian University (go Horned Frogs!) in 2010 and her master’s degree for a family nurse practitioner at the University of Texas Arlington in 2019. Elaine has a strong background in critical care nursing, including working in the Surgical ICU at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and the Shock-Trauma ICU at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. 

Elaine has continued her training and education and is working towards obtaining her Board Certification in Aesthetics and Anti-Aging Medicine through the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. She is currently certified in advanced aesthetic injectables (botox, filler), cosmetic laser treatments, mesotherapy, sexual dysfunction, anti-aging medicine, hormone replacement therapy, medical hair loss therapy, medical weight loss, and peptide therapies.

In her free time, Elaine enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their two French bulldogs.
